Catherine House is our brand-new student residence in Portsmouth, found in the heart of the city centre, it’s the perfect place for students who wish to be within walking distance of everything.
Catherine House is located in the centre of Portsmouth, it neighbours Portsmouth and Southsea train station, and is just 10 minutes walk from the University of Portsmouth.
This striking building has a sky lounge on the top floor with breathtaking views across Portsmouth and The Solent.
More than 830 students live here every year.
Some live together in shared flats, where they each have a private bathroom but share a kitchen and lounge. Others choose a studio so they have everything to themselves. The choice is yours.

Wenn du aber arbeiten musst, anstatt dich zu entspannen, bietet der Arbeitsraum im Erdgeschoss viel Platz für den Schreibtisch und eingebaute Ladestationen.

If you sign a Tenancy Agreement for a semester 2 or 3 beginning after the 1st January 2022, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, with no penalty up until 15 November 2021 or 8 weeks before the start of your agreement whichever is the shortest. Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment of £250.00, together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.

Victoria Park (the oldest green space in the city) is just over the road, the Cascades Shopping Centre and Tesco Superstore are only a two-minute walk away,
Portsmouth & Southsea railway station is literally next door, and then the main University of Portsmouth campus is a seven-minute walk at most.

Wir nehmen keine Kaution für unsere Studentenwohnungen. Stattdessen musst du eine Mietvorauszahlung leisten, die mit deiner zweiten Mietzahlung verrechnet wird.
Wenn du außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten ankommen musst, informiere bitte dein Wohnheimteam so früh wie möglich, damit wir dir helfen können.

In Zeiten der Ungewissheit und zu deiner Sorgenfreiheit, empfehlen wir dir, einen flexiblen Tarif mit kostenloser Stornierung zu wählen. Wenn sich deine Pläne ändern, kannst du jederzeit bis zum Ablauf der Stornierungsfrist kostenlos stornieren.
Wenn du einen Mietvertrag für ein 2. oder 3. Semester unterschreibst, das nach dem 1. Januar 2022 beginnt, kannst du deinen Mietvertrag bis zum 15. November 2021 oder 8 Wochen vor Vertragsbeginn, je nachdem, welcher Zeitraum kürzer ist, schriftlich oder per E-Mail an den Wohnheimleiter kündigen, ohne dass eine Vertragsstrafe anfällt. Sobald wir eine solche Kündigung erhalten haben, bestätigen wir den Eingang, kündigen dein Mietverhältnis und erstatten dir die Mietvorauszahlung von £250,00 sowie alle anderen von dir geleisteten Mietzahlungen.
Wir können nur Vollzeitstudenten aufnehmen.
Um bei uns zu wohnen, während du an der Universität studierst, musst du mindestens 18 Jahre alt sein.
In deinem Wohnheim ist das Rauchen nicht erlaubt, aber du darfst draußen rauchen.
